Howdy
Welcome!
I’m a Minneapolis-based writer, artist, and baker with a deep love for film and media. Here, you’ll find my art and writing portfolios, along with my thoughts on modern art, travel—both in the U.S. and abroad—and media reviews spanning Marvel, anime, books, short films, food, culture, and more.
At heart, I’m a nerd who believes in the power of storytelling and self-expression. I also believe that everyone has the right to their own opinion, their own sexual orientation, and, most importantly, their right to happiness.
My Education, Upbringing, and Why You Should Give a Damn!

I have worked alongside and been mentored by artists of all kinds, both in classroom settings and professionally. From children's book illustrators to industry animation professionals, filmmakers, fine artists, sculptors, toy designers, product designers, fashion designers, BDSM designers, NSFW artists, and street artists—ART, ART, ART! If it exists in the art world, chances are I have a contact for it.
My official degree is in Illustration and Creative Writing, with a focus on 2D animation. However, during my time as a student, I took classes in nearly everything listed above—and then some. So, I guess you could say I have a creative eye for just about everything.
I’m also an avid traveler, having explored much of the U.S. by car, plane, and boat, as well as parts of Europe, Canada, the Caribbean, and Mexico. I want to see it all, experiencing the world through the eyes of a writer and artist to share with others what places are truly worth their time. My hope is to spread as much understanding and love as I can—because maybe, just maybe, that will make the world a little better.
Beyond art and travel, I’ve worked in the construction industry as a woman, supported multiple small businesses, volunteered at homeless shelters, fostered cats, and gathered and recorded the opinions of people from all walks of life. I choose not to judge. I refuse to dismiss anyone’s thoughts based on social standing, ethnicity, upbringing, or political views. Everyone deserves a voice.
So, here’s mine. Enjoy.
